It complies with the 802.3at PoE+ standard, supplying up to 30W per port. With a 65W power budget, it can power multiple PoE security cameras, VoIP phones, access points, or cellular routers over distances up to 250ft per port.

How PoE Switch Works?

Installation involves simply connecting the included power adapter to supply AC input, then running up to four shielded outdoor-rated Cat5e or higher Ethernet cables to devices that need network connectivity and PoE power. Spare non-PoE devices can also connect to use the available bandwidth. With up to 1000 Mbps throughput on each gigabit port, the switch facilitates building reliable wired backbones for bandwidth-intensive security cameras or rural networking applications.
